Kwai profile and videos for accounts you manage
This integration uses Kuaishou Open Platform OAuth. It is an owner-authorized partial: connect the account you manage, grant the documented scopes, and retrieve the fields available to the app.
Connect and configure
Register a Kuaishou Open Platform web app and add <APP_ORIGIN>/api/auth/kwai/callback as its callback URL. Set KWAI_APP_ID, KWAI_APP_SECRET, and a stable 32-byte hexadecimal KWAI_TOKEN_ENCRYPTION_KEY in the deployment secret manager. Open Dashboard → Connections and connect the Kwai account you manage.
The OAuth request asks for user_info and user_video_info. Tokens are encrypted at rest, refresh tokens are rotated when the provider returns a replacement, and disconnect deletes the saved connection and that SignalShelf user’s cached Kwai results. Do not share a connected account’s returned data with other SignalShelf users.
Routes and limits
GET /v1/kwai/profile reads the connected account’s profile. GET /v1/kwai/user/posts accepts count (1–200) and the previous page’s photo-ID cursor. GET /v1/kwai/post accepts a supported canonical Kwai or Kuaishou video URL. Profile and post lookup reject arbitrary usernames and short links.
Fresh provider reads cost one SignalShelf credit; accepted per-user cache hits are free. Returned values are allowlisted to documented fields. Missing provider values remain missing; SignalShelf does not infer unavailable fields.
Production remains disabled until the app is approved, Kuaishou confirms the intended paid use and data retention in writing, and a permitted live validation is recorded. Set KWAI_OPEN_API_AUTHORIZED=true only after those checks. Local fixtures verify adapter behavior but do not establish live parity or permission.
